| Surprise! I'm still alive everyone! Don't worry. | | |
| My roomate is a stoner. Now, don't get me wrong, I was a pothead for a long time. I loved pot, and I have nothing against people who smoke it. In fact, I love these people because they tend to be nicer, more relaxed, and open-minded.
HOWEVER
I do NOT like stoners. For those of you who are not particularly versed in the delicate vernacular of marijuana I'll spell out the difference betwixt the two. First, a definition of pot head: a habitual smoker of marijuana. These marijuana smokers are often stoned and don't usually go a day without pot, but otherwise are good people. STONERS, however, are a special brand of pothead. When they get high, they turn into idiots. They leech food and snacks from anyone nearby, play video games for hours, make messes, and above all stoners don't give a fuck about anyone who isn't stoned. Now, all that said, my roomate is a stoner. He and his friends start smoking immediately in the morning and continue until they pass out at 3am. No big deal...till you see all the shit they add to the house. There is so much fucking trash and crap and God knows how many junk food wrappers. All over the house. And the video games! FUCK there are so many video game pieces all over the living room. Sheezus. Well, at any rate I don't suppose it matters. In less than a week I'll be in Iowa and wont have to deal with having a roomate. For the next 2 months I'll be living alone! Huzzah. I'm excited. After the cruise ship I'll be moving straight to NY and I'll already have an apartment and 2 room mates! WOOOOOO

| Isn't language the best thing ever? I love how our individual rhetoric defines us. We each use phrases that are uniquely our own, and when others use them, we notice. I, for instance, say "swell" a lot. When I say it, nobody really thinks much of it, but if Ted Koppel said that during a news cast, everyone in America would do a double-take. Anyhow, I was just reading something and realized how charming (thats right: charming) the rhetoric was. I love reading stuff written by someone who has a uniquely personal way of writing.
thats all

| Hello again everyone. So I just finished playing Sweet Charity in Bryan yesterday and now I am completely free for the next 2 weeks (except thursday nights). I'm planning on leaving for Iowa on the 23rd of this months. That said, I'm having a party on the Thursday previous (21st). I'm expecting that it will be a pretty small party since most of the people I'd normally hangout with are out of town (or state). Luckily Jennie's in town. Please feel free to drop by!
On another note, I've ordered my passport and it should arrive sometime whilst I'm in Iowa. Super excited about that. I've received all my manuals and read most of them. Royal Caribbean has a lot of rules. Lots of small rules. I'm afraid I'm going to forget something. They have so many restrictions and things. I am so scared I'll be fired for something stupid i forget to do.
Meanwhile, I'm really excited about I love you, You're perfect, Now change. I know it's gonna be a blast and I wish i could go ahead and just move up there. I'm not having much fun down here anymore, now that all of my friends are gone. I've recently sort of lost a good friend too. Not sure exactly how it happened either. We used to hangout all the time, but since the last half of Forum, he kind of avoids hanging out. Maybe we just hung out too much for a while. Trouble is, I wont be back for a really long time. In my experience, that tends to render friends not-so-friendly with each other anymore. I guess you win some you lose some.
Some of the things I'd like to accomplish while in Iowa: - Become proficiant in SPEAKING spanish, rather than just understanding - Take a ton of pictures - Get a tan! hehe - Bone back up on sign language - Finish some pieces I've started: - Brass quintet - Sax piece - Symphony
